Situation.... built a beautiful outdoor enclosure for my sulcata to get him permanently outdoors. Haven't been able to keep him in it through the night because temps are still not quite warm enough yet until sun up. I want to be able to leave him in there all the time and not have to bring him...

Building an outdoor enclosure for my sulcata and wondering what the average temps should be in a burrow? I'm in florida so it's hot and humid. He will have lots of shade but want to be sure he has a place so he won't overheat.

Okay thanks for the advice guys I guess I'll just try to go for a larger terracotta saucer right now because he's not that big and maybe as they get larger they get a tad deeper.

Okay but I only need heat for cold nights correct? Cold nights are pretty much completely done here now but I agree I will definitely be prepared I just wanted to make sure that during the Spring and the summer he doesn't need any sort of additional heat or humidity that our weather would be enough?
