I wouldn’t sweat it too much, also if your watering or showering them with an outdoor hose can have to do with the mineral concentration but as long as its eating and acting fine I don’t see any cause for concern.

Hey everyone, know it’s been a while since I’ve been active here, but never stopped taking care of my herd which is about 22 torts now. My fiance came home today with a highly marbled yearling “Cherryhead” however the plastron is screaming northern redfoot to me. Would like some other opinions...

Had the tort for about a year not sure as to if it’s wild caught or not, not 100% sure if it’s a male or female but the plastron shows some cancavity.

checkout the scutes on this male, coloration looks a lot lighter I’m guessing he’s a yellow foot cross. Any suggestions?

I raised up a male that ended up being orange he's the one in the main pic.Lately ive been seeing them more n more.

I was wondering if it is a regional kind of coloration. I have both kinds and I know the reds are usually from Brazil.I'm lost on the orange headed ones though.

The plants are hibiscus, I transplanted them from the old enclosure which is why they look rather droopy. Thanks for all the kind words, any advice on a better water dish?

After a week or 2 of debating I finally had the time and materials to move the enclosure to a different part of my yard that does not flood whatsoever. Right now I'm just using a ceramic planter base as a water dish would anyone have any better ideas?

I had some some cuttlebone and gave her some of that and she tore it up I made 2 mounds one in her favorite corner and 1 beside a bush. Dropped down to the high 40's last night and same tonight so she's inside for the time being.

She's a pretty big girl about 15-16 years old

I was debating whether or not to try to make an artificial mound I guess I'll go for it along with giving her a warm soak. I'll go ahead and remove the other torts from her pen for a couple days. Thanks for the help everyone
