    Not sure about marigolds, but I know dandelion flowers are safe. My guy loves dandelions (stalk & all), petunias, & clover flowers (white & purple).

    He is just getting used to you & the new environment. Our Sheldon did that too. Leave him be, & gradually let him get used to you. He will be fine.

    Mine LOVES dandelion, clover, & Aloe. He really like red & green leaf lettuce too.

    Russian Tortoise won’t eat

    I would suggest a nice soak (at least 20 minutes) several times a week in lukewarm water. Also, my Russian got more active when we made his enclosure brighter with a lamp. Finally, try aloe, collard greens in his diet. Good luck!
