Thank you! I am really hoping. When I first looked and saw the one scale, I was worried. Once he was dry and I was able to get a better look (when I took the pictures), I started thinking it looked more like shedding.

Initially, I was thinking shell rot, but after a gentle bath, I am wondering if this is simply shedding? Has a healthy appetite. Eyes are clear. I found a full scale in the water, came off as a whole, not in pieces. All scales seems to be coming loose. This little one is about a year...
