thanks for the replys guys at the minute he is 6.7cm and weighs 65 grams and he was born september 2014. i got him beside the mouse to give an idea of size :) i also had the vet clip his nails yesterday, these photos were taken in the vets as the vet wanted to show my tort off on facebook :)

hi guys just thought i would update you guys, my tortoise ate a couple of bits of dandelion leaves and a few bits of clover yesterday yay :) hes also really active and seems happy, thanks guys the new lights, heat mat and increasing the temps really helped thank you :)

yeah they can hibernate but apparently hes too small and might not survive. She couldnt break down the poo sample and said as he came from an exotic pet shop with loads of different animals like racoons, parrots etc, he might have picked up an infection. My vet also thought he was underweight...
