He was a baby red foot. I got him from Redfoot Ranch. I tried very hard to take proper care of him. I’m a novice so I know there is such a variable of things that I could have done wrong. It wasn’t from lack of trying though. We really wanted him.

yes I use that heat emitter and a uvb light. I have forgot several times to shut off the uvb light at night because I don’t have a timer. Is it possible this could be affecting him adversely? I have been using the emitter and uvb together too because my uvb wasn’t putting out the needed heat.

I just bought him mazuri on line. Also here is the light, is it the wrong type?

I think I’m going to have to take him to the vet. His eyes look clear after he opens them and he holds his head up and crawls some but he does seem lethargic, even for a turtle. Sometimes he takes his claws and paws at his eyes a few times. I looked at them with a magnifying glass and I see not...
