I have tried DE before and seems like it takes long for the ants to die, right? Do you just sprinkle it on top or mix it in the soil? Didnt seem effective from my first experience, willing to give it another shot also for prevention maybe by placing it around the enclosure.

This big guy is still in a 5ft x 5ft closed enclosure outdoor but with an owning (humidity is at 70 to 80%, temp is at 30 to 40C). Im going to make a bigger open type outdoor enclosure and would like to know if he is ready for one with his current size? Is he safe from predators at this size...

This is my 3 weeks old leopard tortoise hatchling. It has a bump on the beak. My sulcatas didnt have one when I got them as hatchlings also. They say its a tooth used by the hatchling to break the egg open, is this true? Just wanted to confirm if this is normal or not.
