    I have tried DE before and seems like it takes long for the ants to die, right? Do you just sprinkle it on top or mix it in the soil? Didnt seem effective from my first experience, willing to give it another shot also for prevention maybe by placing it around the enclosure.

    This is my 3 weeks old leopard tortoise hatchling. It has a bump on the beak. My sulcatas didnt have one when I got them as hatchlings also. They say its a tooth used by the hatchling to break the egg open, is this true? Just wanted to confirm if this is normal or not.
