    Lines on shell

Hello all. I just wanted to update you all on Atlas. First of all, thank you for all of your help. I went and got him a brand new MVB. He seems to be doing better. The lines on his shell are fading and he is even more active than he was before. I am wondering if I had a faulty bulb and no...

    Lines on shell

He is eating, acting normal, and he was checked for parasites. Nothing seems wrong. Just these weird lines

    Lines on shell

It is not softer than usual. He is small so his plastron has a little give, but not very much.

    Lines on shell

    My shell baby died.....

Yes. They were vet checked. Tula was a little off from the beginning when we got her. She seemed to want to hibernate and not eat. They were in the same enclosure, but that is how they were kept from birth. Atlas was her clutchmate, born of the same parents. I called the breeder and he...

    My shell baby died.....

Tula, my Iberian Greek Tortoise, passed away this morning. She had lost some weight, was not eating, digging in, and acting as if she were ready to hibernate(which, in this species. is not typical. In the beginning, we thought she was just getting adjusted to her new surroundings. As time...
