I will try to get some pictures of what I call his grout lines; Also is there a way to get some humidity in his outside house; I have tried a humidifier but not enough?[hr]

Help; I live in arizona with very dry humid air; Morris is about 25 pounds and lives outside. He has a house with lights, a den he can dig in, mist system and a kiddie pool. Recently I have noticed around his shutes some flaky shell; Is this normal growth or is it something to worry about. His...
I buy mine at Fry's in cave creek and if you get the containers that have a plastic tray at the bottom and vents on the side they keep very well; I think they are called lettuce keepers and I get them at Fry's
I live outside Phoenix and we have had quite a few snakes this year; We had a 4 foot Western Diamondback, 3 foot gopher and 2 bull snakes which I am not fond on snakes on the property so we relocated down the road near a lake;
I have a sulcata and his indoor enclosure has coconut husk that you soak for 1/2 hour and makes about 1 gallon of substrate and comes in blocks of 3; I just a cat litter scooper and it cleans his enclosure nicely
I agree; I live outside Phoenix where we have snakes, hawks, and coyotes and I don't put my torti outside without me around the house to watch and he comes in at night to his lights, and big enclosure in the house to sleep
I do not want to breed my male sulcata but I want to know is there any harm that can be done if he is not ever bred; Will he become aggressive because he is very sweet and loves to have his neck rubbed; Can someone that is a expert in this tell me it is okay not to ever breed.
I live in arizona and my guy Morris is in at night and during the day because where we live it was forty degrees during the day; I have a uvb, uva and heat lamp in his big enclosure but he did not want to eat too; when I soaked him he will eat too but not in his enclosure; I have been getting...
I have had him for about 1 1/2 years; We live in the middle of the desert and he showed up in my yard when it was 117 degrees trying to get to my rabbit's water; We put up signs in our post office and no one ever claimed him; took him to the vet and he checked out except for a little pyramiding...
It is kind of easy in Arizona with the desert it is kind of like the Sulcata's natural habitat but the heat is worse than New York though.[hr]
Thank you for your reply it makes us feel good to know that we are on the right track[hr]
Thank you he is just a little spoiled
I live in Arizona but our mornings can get to 37 degrees; I have a three year old Sulcata and he has a black light for in the mornings on a timer but at night he lives inside with a black light and a uvb just in case he can't go outside in an extra large dog kennel which is 3.5 feet by 6 feet...
Outdoor enclosure starting to come together; We planted sod to see if it would grow well in that area and it did fine; planting rye grass for winter; still working on hides but he seems to like one in the corner covered with black grill cover; has a heat light for early mornings but he still has...
Thanks for the site I think we have argentine ants but still trying to find a way to keep them from biting Morris; We live out in the desert;[hr]
Just regular chalk? His enclosure is made of landscaping timber with bricks sunk into the ground;
Thank you all for the suggestions; I have put amdro around his pen along with diametaceus earth; and I also mixed with D earth with his soil to help maybe inside the pen along with killing scorpions; Do torti's have reaction to ant bites; Morris seemed sick one night with diarrhea but is still...
