Sorry for any trouble. Not sure why the images don't work. I attached them through the upload a file button on the forum. I have uploaded them to dropbox and you should be able to see them under this link. Thanks so much! https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nphpth3p98bmico/AAC7LM8W8dnADfEavWBkzO0Na?dl=0

    Little bugs in tortoise enclosure

Hi everyone. I know there are countless threads about this but I just need a bit of help identifying these critters. They look kind of like springtails to me but I want to be sure. They are black in color. I have a ton of pics of them that I will attach. Their population is growing and I can't...

    Prickly pear cactus baby sulcata

He gets mazuri, zoo med grassland, a variety of grocery store greens like kale, green lettuce, turnip greens, collard greens, and a few others. I'm also growing him this grass mix in my bathroom with some grow lights. I think the mix was from a cite called natureseed it was their tortoise mix...

    Prickly pear cactus baby sulcata

Unfortunately I can't find any younger pads ): Maybe I'm not looking in the right places idk. Even the normal pads are hard to come by. I will cut them up but not too small so he can bite and break his own size off :) Thx!

    Prickly pear cactus baby sulcata

I am a little hesitant because of some things I read regarding oxalic acid and prickly pear cactus which was more of a concern...

Little bugs in eco earth ):

I hope he grows out of it quite a bit. Part of me will always wish I had known earlier on and prevented even the littlest of pyramiding from forming. I am very relieved / happy it is only cosmetic though. Thanks :)

Little bugs in eco earth ):

Awesome :). Thanks for the reply. I did circle the bump I'm seeing in these attached pics. Apart from that does the rest of him look okay? I don't really have much experience with torts but I'm trying my best. I just get very paranoid, I apologize.

Little bugs in eco earth ):

I can live with them as long as there is no harm to the tortoise :) I have another question. After the humidity most of his shell seems to be leveling out except for one part. The front. There is still a bump there and I'm not sure if it's improving or not. It's tough to get on camera but I'll...

Little bugs in eco earth ):

Hi everyone. This is my first time posting here. I have a young sulcata tortoise approximately 6 months old. When I first got him home I was told to keep his enclosure dry like very dry to prevent respiratory infection so I did. A while later I noticed he started to get slightly raised scoots...
