Does anyone have a good recommendation for where to get plastic flaps for the entry to my sulcata’s enclosure?

Btw, I am in Central Florida. We haven’t had a hard freeze here in a long time. We have a few days a year where it drops below 40.

Also, I did not insulate the floor. I used 3/4” plywood. Everything else is insulated. Do you think that will be ok?

Also, a lot of the framing is old. Maybe some of the chemicals have had time to off-gas?

Oh man. I just finished framing out my box with pressure-treated wood. I spent hours. All of the walls, floor, doors. Insulated and ready to put together.

    Baby Sulcata acting weird

Your tort prob has an upper respiratory infection. It will not go away by itself and it may kill the animal. You should see an exotic animal vet. Prob needs antibiotics and nasal drops.

Thinking of adopting either an aldabra or a sulcata.

My sulcata is about 5 years old and 25 lbs (best guess - I rescued her two years ago and she has grown 5 lbs per year). She roams a grassy yard about 500 sq ft and is completely happy. Eventually we will need more space but we have time. I am not an expert so I can't say what the absolute...

    New member intro

My name is Josh and I live in Orlando, Florida. My wife and I have three tortoises: a sulcata and two Horsefield's. My sulcata lives in a custom-built house and has free range of our large fenced yard. The two Horsefield's live in separate runs attached to a modified chicken coop. Each day we...
