My tort is having some bleeding I believe when he pees. I just noticed a little bit when he was walking around on a light surface. Online it says it can be a whole host of things. Have him soaking in warm water now but there are no vets around here for him intil tomorrow. Any ideas??

Thank you. I normally feed him out of his enclosure to really get a sense of how much he's eating plus I LOVE watching him eat, it is adorable, but here is what he's living in right now.

No I usually take him out of his tank to feed him to make sure he's eatting well. Thats what I thought at first too.

Hello if the temperature is 90-100 degrees should I shut off my hermanns basking light for the day? New tortoise mom and I read they can overheat so I want to avoid that.

So my little guy is about 7-8 months old. I got him about 2 months ago. He does this thing when he eats that I can't find any information on. He stretches out his back legs but only when eating, is that normal for a hermann??
