Thank you!!! The breeder who I'd talked to while we were loosing Strawberry, had his first pip 5 days later and promised it to us. So we saw the journey with the first, then the second from the very beginning. He'd send videos, and pictures of the egg hatching, first eating...it was soo nice...

We live in Florida and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. We've been here 5 years. We live about 30 Miles from Orlando and LOVE it. We're an hour from the beach - just far enough away that when Hurricanes come we're at the highest ground so all we get is strong winds. Mosquitoes only come for a few weeks 2X...
Hose them down - literally ;) That's what breeder friends here do when it gets like that. You can put sprinklers in their area on timers if you are not around to do it through the day yourself.

Thank you for your thoughts. The vet (who seemed to know what was what right away) said it was MBD because her bottom shell was very soft (which we tried to start treating when we found it a couple weeks prior), and because of that & the lack of immunity because of MBD developed a respiratory...
