Thank you for the reply. I was thinking about having a large main indoor habitat and a smaller outdoor one. And I will look at Russian tortoises.

I have been thinking about getting a tortoise for a long time but could never decide what kind would be best. I live in Ohio, but would mainly be keeping it indoors. Does anyone have advice on types of tortoises for that environment or advice on building a indoor habitat? Thanks!
