    Yes I'm in Kansas. I've seen alot of box turtles but none this colorful so I wasn't sure of its kind. It does only have 3 toes on the hind feet though, thank you for the info

    Hi, I was wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of tortoise this is, we rescued it from a busy highway w mowing going on on both sides. I need to find a safe place for it but I want the best habitat so I need to identify it. Thanks for your help

    I'm trying to find out if my sulcata is growing at a normal rate. I got it as a very small hatchling late May, not quite 10 months ago, and he or she, Havel, now weighs 2 lbs 12 oz.     Tortellini the Sulcata

    He is a sulcata, I always soak them and mix the different pellets. He loves it. I feed it alongside his greens
