Specifically the behaviour of my adult tort is concerning, why does he come to me when this happens ? Is he counting on me intervening or is it something else I'm missing ?

I see. I was hoping that he would treat them with indifference. Since that's how all the others have acted towards one another. When they are all outside they pay each other no mind so I was wondering why the change. Thanks
