I think i saved my tortoise's life yesterday. It almost suffocated.

This is a great conversation. In the 90's, I was always told that too much food/to much protein led to pyramiding. All of my tortoises I had in the 90's were wild-caught. And the assumption was always that tortoises grew much much slower in the wild than in captivity (so no pyramiding) . I...

How tall are the panels, typically? Love this idea.

    So...This Happened

Do it. You could provide a rescue sulcata a great home!

So is there actually an app?

I use the app on an Android phone. Installed about a year and a half ago. Works just like the web forum, but I like being able to tap the icon and it goes straight there.

    Explosion of Mallow weed

I highly recommend getting some cordless grass shears. I got some cheap on OfferUp last year. They make quick work of harvesting weeds, a real game changer. I also used these 55 gallon tote bags from Harbor Freight ($0.79) rather than a bucket. I can fill one pretty quickly using the shears.

    Explosion of Mallow weed

    Orchid Bark / Fir Bark

Here's what the GreenAll bark looks like. Looks the same as the stuff I used in post #4 above.

    Orchid Bark / Fir Bark

Time to change the mulch in the enclosure. I finally found Tom's preferred mulch at SiteOne in Los Alamitos. I'm excited lol!

Ebay solar powered pond aerator review

Found it on Amazon for $109 with free shipping, so the direct deal is better. Shipping is still $50 for 2, so even better deal.

Ebay solar powered pond aerator review

$50 shipping to So Cal is a lot. I like the size, but I'll have to think about it.
