    PINWORMS

My Hermann just had her yearly physical and her stool came back with a moderate amount of pinworms. She’s going in for a de-worming tomorrow. They are going to place a tube to deliver medication. Has anyone had this done before? Also do i need to do anything with her enclosure? Change substrate?

Thank you, also to clarify i added the grow lights a couple days ago because i wanted to brighten things up to make her thinks it’s summer. Should i just take those away?

The UVB is the tube and it’s on from 11:30-7:30pm. Do you have any specific Rees for basking bulbs and/or LED strips?

Hi all- i recently posted that i was thinking my tort was starting to brumate by slowing down and mostly staying in hides all day. I increased temps and got more lighting to hopefully trick her into thinking it’s summer. She eats plenty every day but still not really active. Eats then goes back...

    Sleeping more

Hi all, My 3 year old tortoise I believe is trying to start the Brumation process (sleeping more, eating less, less active, burying deeper more recently than before). No signs of illness. I didn’t want her to brumate this year as this is my first year having her and she did have a respiratory...
