Up to 2377g as of today. He wasn't eating too good for a while, but he is back on it.
I found this Zilla Pet Reptile Herbivore Food Medley Diet, which he seems to really like mixed in with the mazuri.
Obviously, he still looks wonky...but turning into a football more and more.
Well, the journaling didn't last very long, did it?
An update on Rio:
As of today, 6/5/2024, he is 1800g and around 10inches long.
Of course his shell is not the best because of the MBD and his bad care before we got him.
But considering, he seems to be doing pretty good.
What are your temperatures in different areas than? For some reason, I was thinking it had to be the same everywhere in every single spot in the enclosure.
I have a similar set up, less nice of course..I have to CHE in there, but the temperature is all over the place. 102 in one area, 85 in another, 78 in the hide, etc... is that normal?
Rio´s enclosure is now twice as big BUT I cannot get the humidity up.
It is only around 40%, I put water in the corners to help but nothing.
Temperatures are around 80-90F depending on where in the enclosure.
2 CHEs, the same UVB bulb (turns on from 11-1), and an additional regular bulb for...
Rio relaxing...
yes, he has lots of pyramiding going on. We got him with MBD (diagnosed by a vet) around 1 or 2 years ago.
He weighed 100g when we got him, he is now up to 750g :-)
