Hello,
This picture was taken a few days ago, while out getting some sun. I'm worried the shell is starting to pyramid. I give daily 30 min soaks, provide water in the enclosure and keep humidity level between 75-85% using a humidifier- haven't been able to control the humidity level any other...
Yes, I chop them into little pieces and soak in water and mix with the other food. She's never had too much of a problem eating hay. It's also available in the enclosure.
I've heard of others blending the hay to make it a power. I haven't tried that method.
Thank you!! t's closed... it seems when I get the humidity level up the enclosure is completely full of steam... I guess that's what it's supposed to be like?. I will get the humidity up. I turned off the basking light last night and this morning her eyes seemed a little puffy but she's more...
LOL that sounds like a happy tort to me!
My little "girl" sleeps all night long until I wake her to soak. I soak her for 15-30 minutes, daily. She was initially eating Romaine Lettuce, daily and Tortoise food (does not like) w/ calcium a few days a week. She also had hay and cabbage lettuce...
I appreciate the information! The list helps a lot, thanks to Tom as well! I didn't see anything about lavender but read other places that lavender is good. Do you know if that is true?
Hello,
Hopefully someone will know if cabbage plant leaves are safe for a sulcata to eat?
I have other items for my little but want to be sure these leaves are a safe option as well. Thanks!
I also am having the same issues will my little one. Have you found a solution?
I plan to visit a plant nursery today to look into other safe options and purchase a bigger water container.
