A promising sign that he is going through a growth spurt. I had the same misperception with my leopard four years ago. I recommend getting a gram scale and weighing every 2 weeks or so. If the weight goes up all is OK.

Siddhartha (Sid) at 4 years - Normal Growth? Today he was measured at just shy of 15 inches at a weight of 20.25 lbs. From what I gather this is rather large for a 4 year old, right? Does anyone have an opinion on the he/she question?
