Any at home things to do tonight while I wait for vet to open up?

Attached are some photos. Noticed today it seemed harder for him to poop. Almost looked like it hurt to poop. Flipped him over and this is what it looks like down there.

Any guesses what it is? Or what caused? Dry food left on too long turned scab? Or mouth rot?

Is this mouth rot? Is this a scab? How do I proceed? Does not seem to be dried food. Appreciate all help. Tortoise active and eating. Thanks so much

I've tried to remove what I originally thought was dried food but it's much harder than I thought. Is this mouth rot? What do I do? Tortoise still has his appetite and movement.

What do I do. I have attached some photos it is now an absurd amount and they are in the water and when my tortoise tries to even drink they crawl on him. He is in the process of recovering from a RI and just don't want him to be having to deal with more than he has to when he is not feeling well.

Do I need to get rid of them? What are they? Are they harmful to my tortoise?

My tortoise is about 2 years old and just under 3 inches. I know typically you have to wait a bit longer but heard for Stars you can make a pretty good guess fairly young. Anyone have ideas for what sex my tort is?
