    This is also why I strategically placed it there, he likes to go from his food slate, and drag lots of mud into his water dish so I’m hoping this may reduce it slightly🤞🏻

    Ok great, thanks. It’s pretty secure. What about the small bits of grey slate in the Viv next to the water bowl? Do people use those in tortoise enclosures?

    Hi. I’m trying to make the enclosure a little more interesting for my 1 year old Hermanns, I have added these bits of slate, but am now worrying they might be too sharp? Any thoughts? And some free Basil spam :) Thanks
