Hey, After washing my tortoise i notice a tiny tan-ish spot on Scooters leg. What could it be ?

i was actually giving him a warm soak before i found it, should i soak him again?

this is what the best i can get at the moment, he isn’t missing any toenails.

how could my tortoise have gotten it, how can i be sure it’s austwickia and is there a way to get rid of it ?

Hello, Today i was soaking my 5 month old african sulcata, Scooter. I noticed something odd around his mouth, when i tried searching it up nothing popped up. What is it and should i be worried? Thanks.

ahh tysm ! scooter has had this for a while and i just presumed it was rapid growth spots but recently they’ve turned yellow-ish so i got a little concerned

what are these spots ? keratin stress? rapid growth ?

Oh my apologies, These are the items i got. They were recommended by the reptile store owner.

We went to our local zeptile store and got a basking light 100 watts i believe, night time light 70 degrees and a uvb light 50 watts i believe as well. We got a humidity and temperature thermometer too for the little guys. We haven’t checked the temperature on the basking and uvb light yet so...

we got the tortoise from a family friend, she didn’t have a uvb bulb and was given calcium once a week, should i start giving her calcium three times a week now ? we’re already planning to go to pet smart and get her a bulb

could i wash them with the same toothbrush ?
