Yellow Spots Around Mouth

Hello, Today i was soaking my 5 month old african sulcata, Scooter. I noticed something odd around his mouth, when i tried searching it up nothing popped up. What is it and should i be worried? Thanks.

Do a search on this forum of austwickia and read thru the different threads about it.
@mastershake may be able to fill you in and ID it.

Those look more like scales than Austwickia granulomas.

Is he missing any toenails? Can you try to get a clear picture of the skin around his head and neck with his head and arms extended? Also a photo of the soft skin at the base of the back legs.

this is what the best i can get at the moment, he isn’t missing any toenails.

It don't see anything obvious in those pictures. I wouldn't panic about Austwickia at this point but keep an eye on it.

It looks like dry shin, give it a good warm soaking to see if it flakes off.

It couldn't hurt, it looks pretty healthy. I use a soft toothbrush to help with his loose skin. Now that my Sammy is 70lbs. I use a bigger brush.
