Red organ like part in star tortoise

Can anyone help me out and tell what is this red organ like part?
Is it normal or not?
And if not normal then what it is indicating?
From past 2 days while soaking this organ like part appears from tail n after sometime it automatically goes inside

Yes, all very normal for flashing to occur. It’s only bad if “it” doesnt go back in. But as long as it’s going back inside you are all good, as is your tort.

Ps. In the meantime, do some searches on “prolapse” - this is when the penis does NOT go back in and can be dangerous.

yeah don't worry unless it doesn't go back in; but it may be the tip of the iceberg as mine started like that and now he shows it to me often. so don't freak out when he shows it all. I freaked the first time as my son said "Gamera is having a baby"... Nope...

My water turtle popped his junk out first time other day and it was so traumatizing I now feel like I need to see a therapist

I can only imagine a Sulcata interaction with the ground! I catch many ground interactions; and it does almost look like they are choking.
