I ink I doubt that it was a rodent. It must have happened when I was at work in his indoor enclosure.
He was only outside for 2 hrs and I was watching him all the time. I noticed it as soon as I put him in the outdoor enclosure.

Thank you zolasmum. He's called pickle. Vet doesn't know his age nor do the rescue centre I got him from. I feel especially bad as the rescue centre vetted me and checked out my enclosures before they trusted me with him.
