My turtle usually has hard poop but just recently he ate sweet potato and his poop was more on the liquid side. I’m not sure if the seeet potato was the cause of that. Any suggestions?
At about what age do Box turtles start eating vegatbles and stray away from the live worms? I have a yearling and he seems to not be wanting to eat the live worms as much but doesn’t like the vegetables. At what age will he start to lean towards the vegetables? Thank you!

Are red wiggler worms toxic to Box turtles? When I cut mine in half they create a yellow ooze and I heard that was toxic but I’m not too sure. If anyone can help me out. Thank you!
I am trying to switch up my yearling boxie diet so he eat more fruit and veggies. Right now I feed him worms every other day and always have out spring mix, and different fruits. He eats the worms great but never eats the fruits or veggies the days in between. I’m wanting to get him to eat less...
Hello, I have a yearling three toed box turtle and he currently has coco fiber as the soil. It holds moisture great but every time he come out of the soil the dirt seems to be in his eyes and I have to soak him in order for it to be all gone. Is this normal or any suggestions?
