I have two russian torts CJ n FIN....CJ not eating, wont lay under heat lamp...if i take him out he will eat by hand feeding n loves it outside... which he is every other day for about n hr, n then gets a soak for about 15 min....FIN is super active. Any ideas what could be wrong w CJ. They are...

New to the forum, i hav 2 russian torts. CJ gets in a little funk every few mos. where he wont eat, wont lay under the heat lamp..acts like he doesnt feel good. Then all of a sudden he will get perky again, move around alot, eats n seems happy. Could it be he is old n just gets in a mood?

I am a new member and had the same question, but cannot find soil/dirt that doesn’t have other ingredients?? Where can i buy something safe to mix w/coco coir? Dont want to put something that will not be ok for my two sweet russian torts
