I'll put a wash cloth or towel on the bottom, just to absorb any jostling. A shopping bag for sure would be better with a towel. The carrier looks gargantuan next to him :) It's 6" x 9" and he's 2.5" x 2."
Nowhere yet. Just a place to put him while i clean his living area, or before his daily soak outside in the sun. The carrier is still too big, but he'll grow into it.
I use the calcium powder. Recently, I bought the Zoomed Tortoise Block and my tortoise is attracted to the smell of it and on occasion, bites small pieces of it.
