    Carrying crates for Leopard Tortoises

Oh, of course. I'm looking at a nice laundry basket, or a cat crate when my tortoise is fully grown.

What's in that leaf, grocery and garden, published nutrient list.

Bought me some seeds to grow for fall. Will let you know if my leopard tortoise likes it.

    Carrying crates for Leopard Tortoises

I'll put a wash cloth or towel on the bottom, just to absorb any jostling. A shopping bag for sure would be better with a towel. The carrier looks gargantuan next to him :) It's 6" x 9" and he's 2.5" x 2."

Nowhere yet. Just a place to put him while i clean his living area, or before his daily soak outside in the sun. The carrier is still too big, but he'll grow into it.

    Cuddle bone?

I use the calcium powder. Recently, I bought the Zoomed Tortoise Block and my tortoise is attracted to the smell of it and on occasion, bites small pieces of it.

    Carrying crates for Leopard Tortoises

I was thinking perhaps a cat crate would be okay, with a towel for the flooring of the crate. What do you think of this one? It's mainly for guinea pig sized pets: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006JVPL6W/?tag=exoticpetnetw-20

Can leopards and sulcatas be kept together?

Thanks for your opinion. Your being an experienced keeper of both species, and caring for captive breds, your knowledge is helpful.

Great idea to put a towel in there to cushion the ride. When my tortoise get bigger, I'd like to take them to the park to munch on clovers and dandelions.

What type of carrying crate do you use for your leopard tortoise? I guess one of the main considerations is your tortoise's size.

Tort does not like Cuttle bone

Hmmm, I guess it takes time for them to realize what it is. I wouldn't know, either :)

    Baby not eating much

There are other types of cacti that are edible. I have the prickly pear cactus (Burbank spineless) growing in my backyard that I chop up into miniscule cubes for my baby leo. I also have a leafy cactus that is regularly eaten by humans, called a Barbados Gooseberry (Pereskia aculeata) that has...

    Sexing - general consensus

Interesting how that can happen. There was a person who named her baby "Pedro." It turned out female, but "Pedro" stuck. I thought that was amusing :)

    Question: Reds or Greens?

So turnip greens are the most nutritionally compact if I buy. If i pick wild, i should go for weeds, like grasses. Mines seems to zero in on clovers.

    Question: Reds or Greens?

Mine is a 7 month old. He has a huge appetite for everything except Mazuri chow. He loves lettuce but i know it has low nutritional value. He is not too eager for grass. He likes clovers and dandelions. He samples stuff on his daily excursions with my constant supervision and he has discovered...
