Spengleri don't get 6-8" long, their max is about 5". So please do send a pic! Spengs are also mountain species, so 85F would be too hot for an extended period of time. Mine do soak in their water bowls, so a shallow water bowl big enough to soak is needed -- plant saucer or something...

Thanks all! Nope, no picturata any more! I had a few but was getting no results, so sent them off to a (hopefully) better keeper. Gotta thin out the herd every now and then.

This is the first bouretti I've hatched! I've been getting Cuora galbinifrons for years, but this is the first bouretti. The bouretti adults are fairly young, but I g uess they're growing up!

All baby turtles are cute, but I think flavos are some of the cutest! Something about that face...
