My 45ish lb sulcata does not eat anything off the ground. He tries, but just bits air (like 6-10 times before moving on). He does not understand how to lower himself to eat off the ground. He eats high weeds, grape leaves and pretty much anything I will hand feed him. He does not even eat...

Sherman is about 13" front to back of shell and 18-20 lbs.

Apparently this sulcata was 125 lbs.

Ok hear me out. My local dog park has an extra gated off area that no one uses. Is this a good idea? I just thought it was a way of not having to move the tortoise every time he gets moving toward the street or parking lot. The gated area has grass and shade. Any thoughts? It is in...
