I just got my Russian tortoise today and want to give her a bath. However, I am having difficulty getting her out of the shell. Is there a catch under the rim or something?
My new Russian girl likes to burrow. Last night she managed to dig down through the substrate to the liner pad at the bottom of the enclosure. She pulled back the liner enough to get under it and then burrowed all the way across the bottom.
Is this normal? She has a perfectly good hide that...
