I was wondering if someone has any ideas on how to "encourage" parts of a shell to continue growing like the others. I have noticed that part of sky's shell doesn't grow as fast as the other side. Is this normal for a russian? Or am I just being a worry wort?

I gave sky a baby spider plant (clipping) and she ate some of it and then dragged it around like a toy and wouldn't let me pull it out

So today the temperature was nice and the sun decided to show its wonderful self so sky found her way outside to explore.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for bulbs for a basking spot. I'm looking for something that includes UVA UVB and heat that has a tight beam. the one I have now doesn't have a tight beam and is difficult to "aim" so to speak at any one rock in particular. Any suggestions? :)...

Well came home today to find Sky my russian tortoise moved everything around in her pen. Including two spider plants one small container of wheat grass and her taking a nap on top of her destruction... Ah the life of a tort momma haha :)

My boyfriend and I bought a small container of wheatgrass that was already 3" or so inches tall and put it inside of sky's enclosure.. To our surprise she ran over and started rubbing her face and neck on it like a cat and now won't let anyone touch it :) thought I would share the cuteness :D

So I have only posted a couple times on here and am new to the tortoise world. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what this might be on sky's shell? I'm worried that it might be some kind of rot of some kind but I don't know for sure. Anyone know what this is? It's the whitish line going...
