Gotta tell ya... I love this forum and how helpful everyone is. Great advice everyone and totally agree...Play with that humidity and temp a bit. My torts do the same occasionally with no ill effects. Good luck!

Nice work and dedication to your tort! ..... I used to work at a marine science center... try doing what you did to a 300lb leatherback in a rehab tank with a fish impaction... my wife wouldn't let me in the house when I got home- hahaha...
I have 8 redfoots (and a random baby box turtle that now hangs around the habitat lol) .... provided you have the space, and the commitment (remember they have a long lifespan. Mine are literally willed to my kids) it's really is not much different than caring for 1 or 2. The social dynamic...
Your missing out on some more fun guys. If you have never seen a group of redfoots racing each other around an enclosure after mealworms and crickets you are missing out!
Fyi... removal of one hind cricket leg is required so it slows them down... sorry ;)
