I have had this beautiful boy (guessing a boy) for a year now. He has graduated from several enclosures to his current 3' x 6' monster that takes up my entire den. He is much less timid and now enjoys head and neck rubs. Seems to recognize his name but that could just be my imagination :)...

Just finished Walter's last indoor enclosure. It is 4 feet wide by 6 feet long by 2 feet deep...... Life is good for Mr. Walter. He just hit the 1lb mark at a year old.

Walter thinks he's all fancy and grown up walking around the kitchen like he owns it...... He is growing fast. He weighed 11.2oz on 9/25 and 12.3oz on 10/3

I let my dogs out this morning to do their business and much to my surprise two rats fled Walter's outside enclosure! Now I am freaked out about leaving Walter out in his enclosure when I am gone to work during the day. Any suggestions on how to rid myself of these pests? I have tried traps...

Just put fresh warm water in Walter's bowl this morning.... a few minutes later I find him lounging as though he is at a spa...... :P

Is it okay to put a yellow squash plant in my indoor enclosure? I'm almost positive I read on the forum that many feed their sulcata this plant. Thanks!:D

My baby Walter is growing!! On march 6th he was 3-1/4" and 2.6oz. Today he is 3-3/4" and 3.7oz. He is very active and a VERY good eater!

Walter is growing --- 1/2 in 6 weeks. He is very happy after just having his bath.

So Walter is very small, just a few months old - still size of a tennis ball but growing about 1/2 inch every 6 weeks. With him being so small it is easy for me to pack him up and take him to my Mom's house to care for him when I am on vacation for a few days. My worry is what about when he is...

So I have had my rescue sulcata since Jan 19th and he is so happy and thriving..... I have now moved him to his turtle table permanently and he is loving it and so far has not toppled over on his back! Thanks to all of you for all the advice and help. :tort:
