I have my 13 inch, bout 35 lb guy out in the privacy fenced n yard, almost an acre, all grass, and plenty of hiding places. How can I keep water around for him to drink? Maybe dig a hole to put a kiddie pool flush with the ground? Does he get his water intake from his munching on grass?
