    Finished a few projects

Busy weekend for pet projects. I finally finished my daughters tort table. Had to put on the greenhouse top after I had completed the build. It is PVC 1/2" pipe frame and painters matt. Also moved the light frame to mount on the inside. Also rebuilt my son's bearded dragon cage.

    Wild lizard very hurt

Hi. I am a member of this forum for our pet tortoise. My son accidentally stepped on a fence lizard today when it jumped out of a bush when he was walking by. It severely injured his head and blinded one eye. However he is still alive. I cannot see him getting better and if I put him...

    Cypress mulch

Just bought a big bag of it from LLLreptile to use in our baby Leo enclosure. It seems to be very slivery. It gets all over him and I am afraid he is going to be eating it and get it stuck in his throat? It is different from what I was expecting. Should I be concerned?

    Should I be concerned?

We are new Leo caretakers and our little guy has a spot on his chin I am concerned about? It is white/grey. Please see the pic below. Cage temps are mid to hi 80's and humid closed enclosure with 85% humidity.

We lost our little Taco today

I am absolutely devastated as is my daughter and family. We put Taco out in the outdoor enclosure today and it must have been way too hot out for him? I came out to check on him and he was fine eating in the food dish. Then I checked again on him an hour later and he was passed away. I am...

Hi. We are new tortoise owners and new to the forum. We have a young yellow foot we bought from LLL yesterday for my daughters. We also have a bearded dragon for my son. I have owned reptiles most of my life but I am new to tortoises. Is it normal for them to hiss a little when you try to...
