    Alright, will do about the hot water! I was reffering to the middle of the plastron since it looked different than other red foot plastrons i have seen. There are no white spots i was just wondering if it could be shell rot since it looks different than other plastrons. Guess he is fine then...

    So ive been wanting a turtle FOREVER and i am finally gettimg around to it! Im in love with the nicaraguan sliders but i havent had a turtle since i was 8 so does anyone have any tips, care sheets to jelp me out?
