Btw Hedwig have some shell rot but I started on the treatment. And they are muddy and very dirty. Is not easy to keep them clean.

Hey guys. Its been a long time since I post something. Im Andy btw! I have 2 redfoots (Dobby and Hedwig). And Im asking for a second opinion on my torts gender. The first one is Dobby. She is over 8yrs old. And The second is Hedwig she is around 5yrs maybe less.

Been off for some time now. But a quick update. Dobby is a monster and Hedwig is growing a lot. Fang passed away about a year ago from natural causes.

They arent eating any plants cause the heatwave here kill all of them but they are eating the leftover food of them. And that is not a problem cause it stay the area clean. My concern is that. If there are a lot of them it could be a health hazard to my torts ?

I look some pics of the insects and they are not grasshoppers, the're crickets.

The dirt is 4-5 inches to the all you can eat buffet, the bark is like 2 inches cause is where the hides will be and the peat moss is 3 inches and is where the pools will be.
