    Sterilising soil

Hi all. Thanks Tom for the clear answer. I will check our local garden shops, I was just afraid if they will have some that is fertiliser free (live in Czech Republic). I do use orchid bark which I just put as the top layer though, but I buy it from pet stores here and it's really expensive. I...

    Sterilising soil

Hello, thx for your reply, but the thing is my oven is tiny and it would take me a month to divide the soil into little bags and put it in there individually... that's why I was asking for a tip when you have a big amount of it. And yes, I buy only free additive soil etc.

    Bobs new enclosure

Thank you all for your nice words!! Bob seems very happy in there. The humidity is 80-90% and it is hot and steamy when you open it. Under the CHE its usually 35-38 degrees celsius.

    Suitable light for leopard?

Our tortoise doesn't really bask. It used to sometimes but now he just walks around shortly, eats and stays in his house and sleeps... In the basking end it has about 40 Celsius, in the cooler right corner around 33 celsius and during the night it can drop down to 24 celsius. Thanks for any tips!

Hi guys, I have a leopard hatchling (about one year) that was raised in very dry conditions, therefore he started pyramiding. I have been raising him in the last 3 months when I got him in hot & humid conditions, like Toms care sheet and all you guys say. I am sending pics of my Bob and...
