Horse field age about 7 I think. Unsure of sex??

My 60+ spur thigh has gone off his food,only eating tiny amounts a day. So then he doesn't poo much. He appears fine in himself and active but obviously is losing weight. Nothing excites him foodwise. Any ideas?? Is he just slowing down due to age?

My tortoise doesn't seem to like nutrobal on his food. He doesn't eat but wolfs food without it. Is this common? Any suggestions??

I have a heat/light combined bulb. Does it need to be on 24/7 or just when he can't go out cos of the weather? I turn it off at night so its dark. Is this OK?
