Hey all! Quick question, how do i keep the humidity up in my torts enclosure.? His substrate is wet, and the temp is about 85°. What do i need to do different? As of right now the humidity is sitting at about 40-50%...
I just got home from work, and my tort was on his back... not sure how long he was like that, how do i know he's okay?! His eyes were open when i found him...
Hey, i just put my tort in a tub of water to soak him, and he's just sitting there, been in the same spot for 10 minutes.. am i doing something wrong? The water is warm to touch..
The thermometer sticks to the side. It tells temp and humidity. Im using a 100 w ceramic heat emitter 24/7, and a 60 watt uvb i think? But yes, the uvb is coil. He does have a large sleep box to sleep in.
Its always at least 80-85 degrees, and i have a thermometer in the enclosure. He does have a uvb light, and i take him outside when i can. Its going into winter here, so itll be a few months before he can go back outside. Ive had him since the midd le of july.
I don't know what to do, he is super lethargic, and just lays there with all 4 legs stretched out. If i put food in his box and set him in front of it, he'll eat it, but then he'll move away and just lay there.. what am i doing wrong?!
Hey guys! I recently invested in a tortoise, and i love it! But, i just need to know what to feed him, i live in northern utah, and am not sure what is around here that would be okay? Also, does he have to have heat during the night?
Thank you in advance! (:
