baby food in soaks?

I have heard to put baby food in the water while soaking, is this correct? If so how much, what kind? Also, can they eat alfalfa sprouts?

The baby food is not for any other reason then for eye problems or a sick tort that is not eating for quite some time. Not meant for a healthy tort
