Yes.. I haven't changed anything as far as lighting and heating. . He is dog those little moves like you said. . I haven't soaked him in 5 days. . Should I not soak him and just leave him alone.

OK. .. Temp about 87° during day and 68°at night. .

While he is hibernating will he still move from time to time? He will be in his tunnel for hours then dig a hole in the corner and stay there the night then go back to his tunnel for a day. Does this sound like hibernating. . Sorry for all the questions but I'm trying to figure this out. ...

Is it bad to bother the tort during his hibernation to take him outside on a nice sunny day for a little. . I no I don't like bothered while I'm trying to sleep. .lol

I'm purchasing a 30" light fixture for a uv bulb to replace my coil bulb that I was told is not good for my Russian tortus. What kind of bulb should I get for the fixture. . Not sure what T8 and all that detail numbers mean. . Thanks

I use a uv coil and a red 150w in the daytime and turn them off at night and go with room temperature 70° at night. . Is that alright. . This Sunday it will be one week since I bought my Russian tort.. he still refuses to eat and he just wants to hide under his log tunnel. . I'm going to buy him the freeze dried food they fed him at Petsmart tomorrow and hopefully he will eat that and perk up. . Any advise please. .

The pet store wanted me to buy a 20 gallon but I went with the biggest they had. . I'm going to bulls another larger habitate in the basement in the near future and one in the back yard in the spring.
