I came across this stuff online and I didn’t know if this was something I should be using on my tortoise’s shell. I don’t know anything about this product so I was just curious if anyone on here uses it or if it shouldn’t be used. Image attached.
Thanks!!
I have taken my tortoise with me on a 3 1/2 hour drive and back for the past 2 weeks traveling for school. I was wondering how hard car rides are on my tortoise, he is the average size of a Russian tortoise and the shaking of the car while driving shakes him no matter where i put him. I worry...
I found a turtle on the side of the road upside down who was flailing and had just been hit by a car. There are ants on him, I got most of them off with water (avoided getting water in his injuries just in case) and I really need help on what to do with him. I have gauze that I can wrap around...
Male Russian tortoise for sale, rescued. Can't take him bc I have one male already and no room for him. Pretty healthy but still working on him. Seems a tad dehydrated and his diet was off.
I soak my tortoise daily, and he has his own pool, but he is starting to get a bad smell and I don't know if there's any soap I can use to "give him a bath" with, to get the smell to go away. Any suggestions?
Hey guys, I got a call from a friend who asked me to come over and help her because her dog had gotten ahold of a turtle and tore him up. I went over to save the day and immediately when I got there I knew there was trouble. This poor baby is cut open on both sides of his shell. You can see his...
Well, whenever I got him, he hadn't been in the typical conditions for a Russian. Fed mainly lettuce and no UVB OR UVA. I think that may have something to do with it.
He is atleast 5, and his length is only 3.5 inches. I removed his water yesterday because I was told the bowl was hazardous ...
Something that bothers me is seeing other Russian torts younger than mine growing at a faster rate. I don't notice my tort growing too often, and he is pretty small for his age. I do the calcium supplements and he is out in the sun most of the time. How else could I help his growing rate?
Thanks!! I am looking for a spider plant and can't seem to find one. That's my next investment though! And the water is actually like a pool and I've sunk it into the substrate with dirt around it. He seems to be able to get in and out pretty easily. But will do!!
