    Hello! New here.

So this makes me feel better reading that people have had success. I really didn't think (I am fairly new to this so it I really don't know that much) he would know what was going on if he was in a rubbermaid tub with his same shavings, I know he would feel the vibration for the car but other...

What are you feeding your Torts?

I do try to vary his diet. I change off on the list for Greens, I usually have about 4/5 different kinds on hand each week. Is that a good way to rotate. Example two days ago I feed him green leaf, yesterday red leaf, today Endive, tomorrow I will probably mix green leaf with some Dandelions...

What are you feeding your Torts?

Thanks, They would just be a treat for him. My house gets sprayed once a quarter for pests, plus we have a gardener and dogs, so I don't trust anything from there and I found the dandelion leaves at the grocery store so I thought that would be a great treat. We are moving in 6 weeks, once we...

    Hello! New here.

Do you think I should switch how to a Rubbermaid container so he gets used to it? The only stops we are making are bathroom stops. Even to eat it will probably be a drive through. I have 2 dogs, one is almost 13 I would never leave them unattended in the car. We plan on taking 6 days...

    Hello! New here.

I know it is a hard call. I know I would feel better if he was with me. He very outgoing and eats like a horse. He will eat anything out of my hand. We always turtle proof different areas of the house and let me roam, (with supervision of course) we take him outside and he explores with no...

Wow! How can you tell that from a small picture? That is amazing! I just took some more pictures I need to e-mail it from one lap top to another, but since you can tell from my picture maybe I don't have to. I thought he was a greek because the Petstore told me he was. Which I have learned...

Hi! I am trying to learn more about my tortoise. I have read through about 4 pages here on Greeks and I have a question? One thread said that Collard greens are bad? Really? Everything I have read in books say they are good for them. I know from owning Guinea pigs that books are usually...
