And for his uv I have a strip bulb

Under his heat bulb the temps are around 33-35C down the warm end its around 28-32 and cool end is around 21-23 and at night I let the temps drop he eats all greens and plants I feed him hibiscus, rose petals, dandelions and other weeds

Oh I didn't even realise! That was me taking someone else's advice, I was originally going to buy some bark chips but someone told me no would you say that would be OK? X

Hi guysI need some advice I have a 1 year old horse field tortoise and live in the uk and this weekend is meant to be around 25C can I put him in the garden in these temps or is it too cold? Thank you and sorry again :(

Yeah at the hot end its between 30-32c and cool end is between 21-23c and in the middle it's usually around 22/23 under basking it's 35/36c and at night I let the temps drop down to between 17-19c xx

Thanks guys I'm in the UK not far from London so it's nice and sunny but freezing cold! But he is eating and pooping ok so I won't worry then :) thank you for your help I hope he gets back to his usual cheeky self soon xx

hi everyone, I've had my little horsfield tortoise for almost 3 weeks now and he's always been fine eating, pooing, urinating and very active, but for the past few days he's just not been as active as he usually is, he is still eating and going to the toilet ok he just hasn't been moving around...

Also, at the minute I'm using a thermostat to control the temps, if I use that mvb bulb how can I control the temperature with that as I know it doesn't work with a thermostat and I only got a thermostat because when he was in his viv the temperate was over 40c! And I worry this will happen...
