My Russian tortoise loves climbing his hides which I know is normal but the thing that I don't understand is why he loves falling off of them. He'll go to the entrance of the hide (the part where he can't climb up or down) and fall off of it onto the ground, I can tell he's doing this on purpose...
Hi my 4 year old Russian Tortoise has had a new enclosure (3 by 2 feet, he is 10 inches long) for about 4 months now.. He is a bit pampered and we let him roam in our balcony and home most of the times, so when he is in the enclosure he always wants to come out..
