Why does my tortoise like to sleep in my hair?

Hey guys. So I just recently got a red foot tort and she’s still a hatchling and I know they like to sleep a lot. When I take her out of her enclosure and lay her on me, she’s either in a very adventurous mood where she tries to crawl everywhere, or she crawls up into my hair on my shoulder. So i’m wondering, is it only cus it’s dark up there and she wants to sleep, or could a part of it mean she feels safe with me and is relaxed to sleep on me?

I’m trying to get her to feel connected with me and I’m wondering if this is a sign she feels connected and everything’s normal!

Two reasons probably:
Warmth and a place to hide.
They don't cuddle like a dog or a cat.
